Due to their debased form, a tengu's rational and logical side is not always dominate, having a strong proclivity for outbursts of calamitous result, cascading their frustrations on anyone or anything around them. It is wise to tread very lightly when in the tengu's turf, as they tend to be terribly territorial.
Hoarders and Tricksters
Perhaps due to their avian character, tengu find a peculiar satisfaction in collecting shiny trinkets and other objects of variable worth. These creatures, while being avid tricksters, tend to meet their match against more intelligent individuals, themselves being duped into trading one of their stashed valuables for some paltry bauble.
